Patil Tchilinguirian is a Lebanese-Armenian multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Montréal working in print, pixels and fibers. Her diversified artistic practice lends to social engagement towards diasporic, socio-cultural and political narratives. Patil strives to engage in the design and development of cultural content whether in a physical or digital medium, ultimately to transform abstract concepts into memorable situations enabling critical knowledge and social impact. She has presented her work in various exhibitions in Beirut, Barcelona, Istanbul, Venice and Berlin.
With over a decade of professional experience, Patil has collaborated with creative industries worldwide to design and implement thoughtful visual communication strategies. In 2015, she founded the design studio Patchil with a focus on research-based and collaborative approaches using emotional design to foster social justice and innovation for non-profit organizations such as UNESCO, UNDP, Mercy Corps, Online Censorship, Electronic Frontier Foundation, and many others.
