Angela Gabereau is a Montréal-based software developer and artist who works in code, craft and microelectronics. Having spent the last 15 years developing enterprise software systems for numerous fast growing startups, she’s participated in the emergence of the web as a platform, cloud computing, internet-of-things and artificial intelligence. As an artist, Angela has produced several interactive, technology based projects, independently and in collaboration with other artists. She has participated in several group exhibitions in Canada and internationally. She holds a joint degree in Computer Science and Fine Arts from Concordia University (Computer Applications, Computation Arts (BCompSc)), where she worked for four years as a research assistant at Obx Labs at Hexagram Concordia, Centre for Research-Creation in Media Arts and Technologies. She is currently employed at RDnote, a digital health startup providing clinical nutrition decision support tools for hospital systems.
