Jean Dubois is a professor at the School of Visual and Media Arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal and co-directs Hexagram, the international network dedicated to research and creation in media arts, design, technology and digital culture. His artistic practice addresses the public sphere with media installations in the form of unstable monuments whose content is usually random and interactive. His creations and communications have been presented in several international events and renowned institutions in Canada as well as abroad, notably at the Museo d'arte contemporanea Roma Testaccio (Rome); at the Museum of Arts and Crafts (Paris); at the National Studio of Contemporary Art - Le Fresnoy (Lille); at the International Cyber ​​Art Festival (St. Petersburg); at the Biennale of Montréal (Canada); at the Incheon International Digital Art Festival (South Korea); at Experimenta - International Biennial of Media Art (Melbourne); at eARTS BEYOND, Shanghai International Gallery Exhibition of Media Arts (China), among others.
